Dr.
Enrique M. Silva graduated
with a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana
State University and received his medical degree
from la Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican
Republic. He completed an externship and residency
at University Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
He has been in private practice since 1987, buying
one of the oldest established practices in Jacksonville.
He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics,
the American Medical Association, and the Duval
County Medical Society.
Dr.Silva was born in Havana, Cuba and is an American
citizen by naturalization. He is married with
a son and a daughter.

Dr.
Alfredo Romeu received his
medical degree from la Universidad Central del
Este in the Dominican Republic. He completed an
externship in Anesthesia and Emergency Medicine
at St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
He completed a pediatric residency at Tod Children's
Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. In 1988, Dr.Romeu
joined Jacksonville Pediatric Associates in private
practice. He is a member of the Duval County Medical
Society and the North East Florida Pediatric Society.
He was born in Havana, Cuba and is an American
citizen by naturalization. He is married with
a son and a daughter.

Dr.
Juan Carlos Quintana graduated
with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami Dade
Community College and received his medical degree
from la Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican
Republic. He completed his residency at University
Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Followed by
a fellowship in Ambulatory Pediatrics at University
Hospital. He has been in private practice since
1986, joining Jacksonville Pediatric Associates
in 1996. He is a member of the Duval County Medical
Society, and the Florida Medical Association.
Dr.Quintana was born in Havana, Cuba and is
an American citizen by naturalization. He is married.

Dr. Campbell came to
Jacksonville Pediatric Associates in 2000, after
graduating from the University of Florida Pediatric
Residency Program. He is also a graduate of the
University of Florida School of Medicine. Prior
to entering medical school, Dr. Campbell was a
Physician Assistant for thirteen years working
in the specialty areas of pediatric surgery, neonatology,
pediatric emergency medicine and pediatric critical
care.
He completed a residency in surgery for graduate
Physician Assistants at Yale University after
obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Medicine at
the University of Florida in 1980. He also has
received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture
from the University of Florida and holds a Masters
Degree in health administration from the University
of North Florida. Dr. Campbell is Board Certified
with the American Board of Pediatrics and is a
Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
He is a clinical professor with the University
of Florida and assists with pediatric resident
education.
In 1989, Dr. Campbell helped found the Children's
Health Organization Relief and Educational Services
(CHORES), a not for profit children's health care
group based in Jacksonville, Florida. Since the
initial project in August of 1989, CHORES (www.choresforthechildren.org
) has provided twice, yearly multi-disciplinary
programs of pediatric medical/surgical care for
the children of Grenada in the Eastern Caribbean.
CHORES has performed eight education and surgery
programs to the Philippines. After seventeen years
leading CHORES, Dr. Campbell stepped down as executive
director in 2006. Dr. Campbell is also a professional

Dr.
Nicole Taylor is the 8th of
10 children born to parents Robert and Gerogianna
Taylor. In her early years, she attended elementary
school in Jamaica before coming to the United
States to complete her high school education in
Hartford. Nicole attended Central Connecticut
State University before enrolling and graduation
from University of Connecticut Medical School.
Upon completion of the University of Florida Pediatric
Residency program, Dr. Taylor joined the staff
of Jacksonville Pediatric Associates.
She resides in Jacksonville, FL with her husband
and son. Her interests include adolescent health
promotion and community education. In her spare
time she enjoys reading, swimming, horseback riding,
and an occasional play at the Florida Theater.

Dr.
Joselito Ibarreta joined
Jacksonville Pediatric Associates in 2004. He
finished his undergraduate degree at the University
of the Philippines with a degree of Bachelor of
Science in Zoology in 1981. He received his medical
degree at the Ateneo de Davao University-Davao
Medical School, Philippines in 1986 and graduated
with honors ( class salutatorian). He was awarded
as Most Outstanding Intern at St. Luke's Medical
Center in Metro Manila, Philippines in 1987. He
completed a residency training in Internal Medicine
in the Philippines and is a member of the International
Society of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Ibarreta completed his residency training
in General Pediatrics at the Mt. Sinai School
of Medicine-Elmhurst Program, New York in 1996.
He is board-certified in General Pediatrics since
1996 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of
Pediatrics. He worked as a pediatrician in Kentucky
for five years and ran his own private practice
in New York for three years before he moved to
Florida.
Dr. Ibarreta was born in the Philippines and is
a U.S. citizen by naturalization. He is married
and has three children.
